Style: Kote-kei



A Jrock band that was important in creating the Visual-kei scene during its early days. Pierrot was around for over ten years and released a good deal of material. Their style is pretty easy to listen to and is probably comparible to that of L'arc~en~ciel, BUCK-TICK, and various other visual bands who were from that time period. Pierrot achieved major status in 1998 and as a result their material and style of dress became more mainstream. Ironically, their first major album was entitled "Finale" and their last single before their demise was "Hello." The band disbanded in April of 2006 and their guitarist and project leader felt that it was his fault for the end of the band. All of the members later moved on to other projects.





I am aware that I am missing most of their releases here, but the vast majority of their releases were compiled into their final two collection albums. If someone desperately needs an obscure B-side to a single then please leave a request for it in a comment to this page.
